We became Foodies in 1988 while honeymooning in Italy and we missed many an afternoon of sightseeing because the lunchtime bottle of wine had us living like true Italians…enjoying the siesta!
Through the years our palates have expanded and we have spent a lot of time with family and friends enjoying good food and good wine.
Having grown up on the Chesapeake Bay, Eric would rather take on Mike Rowe’s dirtiest jobs than live life without Maryland Steamed Crabs.
Darlene grew up in Providence’s Little Italy and was a true pizza connoisseur until Mother Nature intervened – Darlene was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in December 2008 and has been a Gluten Free Foodie ever since (No, it’s not an oxymoron!).
Our daughter is a Baking & Pastry Arts student at Johnson & Wales University and an afficionada of mussels.
We live in the Baltimore-Washington, DC corridor with our lacrosse playing teenage son whose favorite food is kobe burgers.
